PMI® CAPITULO MEXICO
encourages people interested in Project Management to participate as speakers
in the PMTOUR Mexico 2008 “1st National Congress on Project
Management”, which will be held along with the SG´08 Congress & Expo.
PMTOUR Mexico 2008,
the first national Congress on Project Management organized by the Project
Management Institute (PMI®) Capítulo México, aims
to offer attendees the opportunity to actively participate in talks and
tutorials, to improve their professional development, to enrich their
knowledge and to share experiences with colleagues. Thus, their connections
will increase, as well as their human, technical, and professional
experience. PMI® Capítulo México aims to strengthen
the culture of Project Management for Mexico’s benefit.
PMTOUR
Mexico 2008 will be held along with the SG’08
Congress & Expo, - a technical Congress on
software development that targets Mexico and Latin America IT
professionals. The objective of this Congress is that local professionals
become acquainted with the international leading trends and practices in the
field. The objective of working jointly in the production of these events is
to combine our efforts in order to provide the attendees with higher
benefits, since they will be able to participate in a wide range of talks and
tutorials.
PMTOUR México 2008 and
SG’08 Congress & Expo will be held from June 21st to 24th at the
Sheraton Hotel Centro Histórico in Mexico City.

Proposals should be
submitted through the Congress
management system available in the PMTOUR website (www.pmimexico.org) as of February
18th, 2008. Proposals should include a 200 to 600 word abstract describing the content of the session,
as well as a biographical sketch of
the author showing his or her experience as congress speakers, the target
audience level and the previous knowledge required to attend
the lecture. Sessions should be
planned to take 50-minutes.
Proposals related to Project Management will be assessed by a Committee made
up by PMI® Capítulo México. Proposals related to
the SG’08 Congress & Expo will be assessed by a Committee
comprising experts in the different topics.
The selected lecturers will
receive one complimentary ticket
for the congress.
